Silver & Gold.

I've got a new band. It's called "SILVER & GOLD". It's an accoustic collaboration between my band Heartattack Radio and two younger belgian punkrockbands, the Rejected Bastards and Against The Law. My parents always took me to singer-songwriter shows when I was a younger boy and I always admired the simplicity of the genre. No, I don't see myself as a singer or singer-songwriter. I write simple poems and put a song underneath them. I always wanted to do a band like this, but I was waiting for the right time and people. I think I have found both now. The name of the band is a tribute to both Joe Strummer and Neil Young, two of my biggest inspirations to start this band. The song "Silver & Gold" is Joe's last song he ever recorded. Knowing this, it makes my heart stop every time I hear him say "that's a take" at the end of the song. It's simply one of the best songs and lyrics that he has ever written.
