VOGUE tourmemories part 4.

After Vienna we went to Kosice, Slovakia. It's not a secret that this country is poor. You can see it when you watch the streets, the houses and even the people. As soon as we got to the venue, we met the promoter and he offered us food. He was the kind of guy that would give everything he has. So he gave us food and lots of drinks. I felt kinda ill whole day, we had the flue going around in the band since the day we left and now it seemed to be my turn. So I didn't drink before we had to play. We played a good set, the crowd went nuts, grabbed Jan and lifted him in the air several times. As soon as we were done, I was done being sober as well. Some guy offered me a local drink called "malina" (I can be wrong on the name) and it hit my head like 20 hammers in once. I sure lost myself that night, I admit. I'm sure the story will go around about me throwing up and begging my bandmates to put me in bed.
I'm glad they did. The next morning I had no shower, a hangover and it was FREEZING! The picture above was taken at the back of the venue before we left to Budapest.

"BUDAfuckingPEST" as John Wilde would say. The weather kinda sucked that day and I was still feeling ill. I don't remember anything of the trip to Hungary, but I do remember it was a sunday. We walked around town and needless to say it had its beautiful parts. Vanni and me had a burger. Vanni always had burgers, everywhere haha. Anyway, we had a good time wandering around. We had some tea/coffee (see picture below) and then went to the show. It was supposed to be the biggest show of the tour, cause Blacklisted and RTTM were headlining. I'm not gonna write something about those bands, nobody should care about my opinion. Let's just say I'm not into metal and they are. Anyway, I was still feeling ill the whole evening. I was in a bad mood and Jan's behaviour totally got me in an even worse mood. We totally sucked that night, not performing as a unity, but as just 4 individuals. Shit happens. Brammeke's group therapy made us all realize what had just happened and made us swear it would never happen again. I read some more of SLASH's biography and then went to sleep. Next morning Jan had gone out shopping for new clothes before we all woke up. We had breakfast and then our host took us down town for some more sightseeing. Budapest is worth visiting, it sure is. I'm going back with Heartattack Radio in a month, stoked! We left Budapest after another cup of tea/coffee, destination Bratislava.
